Transgender - Is The Voice's Sasha Allen a girl?

Sasha first announced to be transgender during high school. Sasha had to face some tough times but knew his family would support him and music was a way to aid. Jim and Sasha who are both writers have been formally forming a duo, and they have performed in open mics as well as different venues around the city. The Voice coach did not discuss Sasha's story but Jim and Sasha talked about their life in a short intro clip. Sasha started playing guitar aged six. The pair talked about their musical tastes and shared stories about their first encounter. The musician was able to grasp the form of music more quickly due to his father being a teacher. Sasha was a troubled child with his gender identity. In an Instagram post posted recently she spoke out about his struggles. Jim however, felt overwhelmed by emotion as revealed his inability to remain present in the difficult moments. Sasha Allen was born as a woman. Sasha Allen turns 19 in 2021. In the year Sasha was a freshman in high school, he came out to be transgender, and then began the transition into male. Sasha posted on Instagram that he was the third trans person who ever been featured on the show. Sasha said that he was very proud and honored to be a part of the entire trans community.
